Gerontology:
Major contributors are Professor Iris Chi, Professor Nelson Chow, Dr Joe Leung and Dr Ernest Chui, plus staff from the Sau Po Centre of Ageing.

Family:
Many of our colleagues have an interest in this area from different perspectives (e.g. Dr Daniel Wong specializes in family caregivers of mentally ill people, Dr Debbie Lam in parental violence, Dr Chan Ko Ling in family violence and Dr Yeung Ka Ching in family and marital therapy) and we have a Family Institute run by Dr Lee Wai Yung with special emphasis on family with psychosomatic illness: eating disorder and depression as well as family violence.
